Some of the best ways to save money is by buying in bulk. Well I found a good place that I want to share with all of you. It is called Zaycon Foods and some of what they provide is

— high quality meats and fruits (& more)
— fresh from the best farms in America
— delivered direct by refrigerated truck
— sold in quantity only by the case
— at exceptional wholesale prices
— with secure online ordering
— and convenient local pickup
— at one of our scheduled savings events

Its free to register. No membership dues are required. And they will send you a email when they will be delivering in your area. It depends on what is in season for your area as to what they will have available. So the list does change frequently. But basically you could buy a major part of your meat with them one month and not have to purchase any meat for 6 months or longer, depending on how much meat your family consumes. But as an example, they sell their hamburger in 40 pound cases. I break mine down into 1 pound servings and freeze in my trusty Food Saver bags. The Alaskan Salmon comes in 20 pound cases with each Salmon filet about 2 pounds already individually vacuumed sealed. For more information click this link Zaycon Foods

We made the switch to Ambit Energy 2 years ago. We have tried every electric provider in our end of Texas and every month our electric bills were sky high or at least to us, it seemed that way. Than my hair stylist told me how she had switched to Ambit about 6 months previous and how her electric bill had dropped more than 50%. Well I was skeptical to say the least, but we went ahead and signed up to see for ourselves. And she was not exaggerating. We made the switch February 2010 and our first bill was $54.26. We thought at first it must be just a participial bill. But nope, we compared the wattage with previous history on our Reliant account and wattage was almost identical. So we kept close watch and just kept comparing our new Ambit bill with our previous Reliant bill and each month it was always considerably less than what we use to pay. But the big test would be when our July and August bills came around. We were in shock, our old bills for these two months were always well into the $300 range, but our first year with Ambit, our bill was $177.20 for July 2010 and $196.84 for August 2010. So we figured after a year they would jack the rates, again the answer was no, our 2011 July bill was $190.27 and our August $196.76. We have only had our bill reach above $200 once and that ended up being a faulty meter. I just wish someone had told us about Ambit sooner. I cringe when I think about all of that money we threw away on the other providers. The rates do change, but you control how much you pay. They will show you a list of rates available and even have green rates, with terms of 3 months, 6 months and a year. So you lock in the lowest amount of the rate you want for that time period. If you make the switch, you will not be sorry.

You can also earn free electric. For every family member or friend who decides to make the switch, you get credit off of their usage. And Ambit rewards you for sharing them by allowing you to earn credit to be applied toward your electric bill and also free travel vouchers.

They are currently only available in Texas, New York, Illinois, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. To find out more or to sign up, visit Ambit . If you sign up by going to this link, you would be signing up underneath my family, which would help defray the costs of this blog.

There is a company that has been around for a number of years called Arise. They serve as an outlet between companies and potential work at home customer service agents. Here are some of the pros and cons to working for Arise:

Cons-
*You have to pay to become certified and it can cost you up to $99 for what is called ACP training. I say upto because some times they do have sales or vouchers that become available to lower the price. This training is not worth any cost. It basically is a self paced process that teaches you the basics of the Arise website. You can complete the class in a few hours or you are allowed to take a week.
*You have to pay for your own background check.
*In order to work for any of their clients, you have to incorporate or you have to join one of the corporations already set up. There is pros and cons to this also, depending on which state you live in. In some states when you are a corporation you have to do yearly state filings and fees. So for less headache it may be more cost and time effective to join a already established corporation. If that is your choosing, I would recommend http://gozancorp.com/ Tamara is awesome and a real sweet heart to work with. Just tell her Darla sent you and she will take care of you.
*Once you decide which company you want to work for, you than have to pay for your own training. It can range from $79 up to a couple of hundred dollars per client. Yes, that means you can work for more than one company, but you must pay and successfully complete training for each and every company you want to work for. Some of the training can take a few months and that is a few months that you are not making any money. If you sign up for training for one of these companies, it is very strict about no missed classes or you will be booted from the class, you will not be able to retake the class and you will not be able to ever work for this company ever again. It does not matter what the reason is, hospital, death, internet service provider. The only exception to this is a national emergency.
*Once you have successfully completed training, you have to pay for your drug test.
*You are an Independent Contractor, not an employee. So you are responsible for your own taxes.
*Arise takes out $19.75 out of your checks twice a month for a service fee.

Pros-
*They do have a very long list of clients they service, which means variety for you to choose who you want to work for.
*Steady work.
*Large variety of some fortune 500 companies.
*Steady pay.
*You can work for more than one company.
*You get to work from home.
*You can earn performance incentives and bonuses
*You can work part time or full time.

So as you can see, alot of things to consider. While I can not list the actual companies they service because of a confidentiality agreement. I can tell you that I know of 20 of the companies they service and they are all well known. One is a well known cellphone provider, you also have a building materials store, a couple of cruise lines, a couple of computer chain stores, a catalog company, a couple of tax companies, a book chain, just to name or should I say, hint at a few.

To get started with them you will need-
A separate landline telephone dedicated to receiving Arise incoming calls. VOIP, Digital and Cell phones are not acceptable.
Windows XP or Windows 7 operating system. Vista is not supported and neither is MAC.
Broadband such as Cable or DSL is the only thing accepted. And it must not be a wireless connect.
Computer requirements-
Processor: 1.4 GHZ or better (2 GB RAM or better RECOMMENDED)
Hard Drive: 80 GB with at least 15GB of free space

Here below is an example of a actual shop assignment. ****EASY 10-MINUTE SHOPS FOR ANY 18-27 YEAR OLD **** Hi there! If you are 18-27 years old and can document it WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! Sutter Marketing is scheduling simple tobacco compliance shops at a national-chain drug store that can be completed while you are out and about on your typical day. THESE ARE REVEAL SHOPS. If you are not comfortable obtaining a manager’s signature at the end of your shop, please do not apply. If you know of an 18-27 year old that would be able to complete these shops, please feel free to give them this information. We would greatly appreciate it. Each assignment pays $10 per location, plus reimbursement up to $10 (if allowed to purchase a pack of cigarettes), via PayPal on the 15th of the month following the shop date. **** BRAND NEW REQUIREMENTS BEFORE YOU MAY COMPLETE SHOPS – NO EXCEPTIONS 1) Email me a scanned or digital photo copy of your STATE OR GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID and a CURRENT PHOTO NO MORE THAN 6 MONTHS OLD TO: 2) Please label the photo with last name, first name and date taken. 3) Apply for up to (5) locations you want using the links below. All questions at the end of the SASSIE application must be ANSWERED COMPLETELY in the comment box to be considered FOR ASSIGNMENT. 4) PLEASE MAKE CERTAIN that you have not ALREADY completed the location(s) you are applying for WITHIN THE LAST 6 MONTHS. ***THIS ALL MUST BE DONE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF APPLYING FOR A SHOP OR YOUR APPLICATIONS WILL BE DELETED AND NO SHOPS ASSIGNED – ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS*** There is a VERY STRICT LIMIT of 2 to 5 shops per SHOPPER per MONTH depending on client needs IN EACH STATE. Please do not apply for more than 5 if you do ALL applications will be DELETED and NO shops assigned to you. We have a monthly maximum in each state and assign shops until our quota is filled. DEMAND for these shops far exceeds the monthly quota. We try our best to give everyone who complies with above requirements some shops each month space permitting but we cannot PROMISE. Thank you and I look forward to working with you! You must meet the following qualifications to apply for this shop: * Your age must be 18 years or More * You must accept PayPal payments

I live in Texas, so we have to be prepared for natural disasters. We have tried several different companies products and they tended to fall into several categories, taste of the food left a lot to be desired, cost of products, timeliness of orders and quality of products used in the menu items. So far only one has passed all of those tests and that is Free Food 2 Go. Not only did they pass all of our qualifications but my sons even approved and my sons are very picky eaters. Another thing I liked about this company, is they are helping those struggling in this economy by allowing people to earn free product by sharing their joy of the product with others. Key points-They have 3 membership lives. 1. Co-op Customer: Free to join and you pay regular retail prices on the products. 2. Co-op Preferred Customer: Think as this as you would a Costco or Sam’s Club Membership. Membership is $25 to sign up and $15 renewal every year. With this membership you get the discounted prices and also the opportunity to earn free food. 3. Co-op Owner: This one has two options, one for $48.95 and $100. The level you choose would depend if you want to work this as a business part or full time. As a Co-op Owner, you earn free food and cash. I also like they are working on Kosher, Vegan and Organic Lines. T read more, you can visit them here. By the way, this is what we tried out- Its called the Sampler Pack and it cost $7. We got 2 servings of Cheddar Broccoli Soup, Oriental Beef Fried Rice, 6 Grain breakfast cereal with Honey, Western Chili. You just add water, heat and your ready to eat. It also contained Milk, which tasted like real milk and they say it is not an imitation whey product. A very good investment.
